more options for the in-game XMB. Most of the stuff you still have to quit the game to perform. What's the point in that?
How do we know they won't do something similar? RTS Call of Duty, anyone?
some people like it. some people don't. some people would buy it. some people wouldn't. everyone has different tastes. the end.
damn... well... here we go...
be prone to overheating? Hmmm...uh oh
there are like 2 disagrees for almost everyone here and in open zone. Everybody is 0-2. I don't know why I noticed that, but it made me laugh.
sorry for the interruption. Now back to your regular programming.
"Natal will change the way you interact with games forever" type stuff. A true Revolution in gaming. Well in my mind, what I said above would be just that. Not controller free party games. That's been done already. Or driving with two hands and no wheel. Oh and thanx for clearing up the DVD limitation. That is a huge problem. We might not see much from Natal because of that.
E3 it is.
edit@ Godmars: you're right, I forgot about that. That would have been a s...
All I want to do is talk to NPC's in an RPG. Real Time conversation. I ask, they answer. But I must ask the right questions. And find the right people to complete a quest.
Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. That kind of tech may not be ready yet, or just too expensive to appeal to a mass market, which seems what Microsoft wants. I guess it's E3. I hope they have something to show besides motion shooters and party games.
You can't think of anything? So that means all hope is lost? Your just one person, just because you can't doesn't mean others can't or won't. And it's probably why you're not a developer. The irony of your name, cuz that logic isn't very creative.
Don't want to argue with that statement, but I would bet more people have heard of Mortal Kombat than Street Fighter. Only because of the controversy that surrounded that title. I mean, it is the reason the ESRB was formed in the first place. That is a huge deal. Probably the biggest impact a game could ever claim. And Ryu or Ken, Guile, whoever, is nowhere near as identifiable as Mario. I will argue that all day long.
I just laugh at it, and talk sh!t right back. You never know if they're serious or not anyway. I can sound serious and be laughing at the same time, but no one would know it, cuz they couldn't see me. Power of the internet.
you could have left it at your first paragraph. No need for that huge text. You know this site, N4G. This whole site is nothing BUT fuel for the fanboys. It simply couldn't exist without them. The only reason I come here so much is for the entertainment. I have never seen so many ridiculous "articles" about nothing. I get my real gaming news from GI or the official Playstation site, since I only own the PS3 currently. It's just good fun.
Oh and take this bubble, I took...
be it the Wii, DS, PS3, 360, PC, upcoming Move and Natal, it all helps the industry as a whole. I won't label someone casual or hardcore, no matter how much they play games or when. 1 day a week or seven, they're still playing a game.
Mobile gaming not as popular or mainstream? The game boys and the DS's both have sold over 100 million units. You don't sell units like that by not being popular or mainstream.
edit @ bearpapa: well I always considered mobile to mean "on the go"
Not saying he's right or wrong though. But I get what you're saying, so it's all good.
how about both on each disc? I can see it happening. I wouldn't mind.
These will probably be the most impressive Blu-Rays to date. I cannot wait. I would easily pay $200 for some kind of bundle.
I. LOVE. STAR WARS.
I became 'hooked' the very first time I used a controller to move objects on the screen. I was 3 years old. I am now 30 and still play every day.
GI has it listed as coming for both 360 and the Trey
They laid on hammocks and were fed grapes by beautiful women, all the while counting those big stacks of cash, delivered personally by Mr. Kotick himself.
Oh I don't want an RTS Call of Duty, was just saying. But you never know...this is Acti were talking about..
